This is done by the sensor emitting an electromagnetic field which once is changed due to it coming in contact with an object relays a change in the signal back the unit.

Contact us for details of reconditioned Etcher proximity sensors.

Turbo Pump Control Units

We have a new design on the main site and we have added many new branded products to the range including Fuji Electro, Sony and Siemens. The German born (July 1 1880, Berlin) physicist is best known for his Pirani vacuum gauge which works on the principle of the measurement of heat loss.

Vacuum gauges are used in order to attain a correct measurement of the amount of pressure inside a vacuum. The Pirani model is made up of a metal wire which is open to the pressure being measured, the wire is heated by a current and is also cooled by the gas; when we measure the voltage and the current flowing through the wire, we can determine the gas pressure by the resistance. This is similar to the way Thermocouple gauges work, those measuring the actual temperature of the wire.

Mercury Arc Lamp

In 1802 the Russian scientist Vasily V Petrov discovered the means to develop the arc lamp used today in welding and in movie projectors as used in cinemas around the world. This means of conducting electricity in so many diverse applications has allowed industry to move on at a rapid pace, introducing what was previously unheard of to become everyday features in our life; fluorescent tubes, camera flash lamps and electric trains.

The efficiency of arc lamps is what makes them a popular choice, that and the fact that they rarely ever burn out. As lamps get older, usually after a period of use over 4 to 5 years the warm up time increases by anything from 2 to 4 minutes.

Mercury Arc Lamps are negative resistance devices and so requires a ballast to ensure that there is no risk of the lamp taking excessive current. We have a continually growing and changing catalogue of lamps (mercury, sodium, CFL etc) and ballasts so it is not possible to list everything in our stocks. If you know what you are looking for it is best to call us and we can source the item you need.

Beamline High Voltage Implanter

The implanting equipment has rapidly changed over the past five or so years; the big manufacturers of implanters mostly have discontinued production of units as commoditisation has taken over specific need, so it at the end of the day it all comes down to the price rather than what model or brand and different features.

With these units still needed by existing customers, most companies will still supply implant technologies for those clients but some are already looking for an alternative which often works out more economical as more often than not a used and reconditioned unit will be sourced.

RTC Systems are one such supplier; we have an ever changing catalogue of reconditioned manufacturing equipment available from all the industry leaders. Click here to visit our online catalogue where you will find everything listed by manufacturer and serial number for easy navigation. One of the most common examples of this would be the Diesel Engine. As we know haulage companies and road based operations use diesel as it is considerable cheaper than regular fuel and the engines do last longer making the diesel the most cost effective option for such industry. The problem lies with some of the older vehicles omitting harmful fumes into the environment and with today's social conscience on matters of preservation it is up to companies to ensure that they are doing their utmost to make reductions in emissions where ever possible. System Control Retrofits are the cheapest and sometimes the quickest way to bring your fleet up to date. We supply thousands of parts which will enable you to be able to process such updates and not only for engines but for vacuum machinery, manufacturing systems and to house hold things like games consoles and water seals. If you supply retro fitting services or any other form of repair for machinery you should try us for price and range as we stock probably the most comprehensive range of pre owned retrofits and pre owned equipment in the United Kingdom today.

This is our new blog section where we will be posting developments with our company and where we will let you know about our products and services.

O Ring Shaft Water Seals

If you are working on machinery built before the year 2000 you might have trouble finding the original parts you need, even if you are happy to have the equivalent of the original fitting this may even be as hard to track down as the branded item. We have listed all the brand names and manufacturing companies in alphabetical order, all you need to do it click the name you need and that will open all the stock we carry for that manufacturer. We must say that we are constantly adding to our stock and simply do not have the time to list every single item, so if you cannot find what you are looking for give us a call as we will more than likely be able to help you.

We supply to the trade and domestic so no matter what size job you are undertaking we are the people to talk to for all those hard to find parts you need to complete the job.
